I have been a user of another formulation program for more than 20 years, and just like anyone who is so used to having to operate a program for so long, shifting to another program is dreadful and cumbersome. But fortunately, when I had to shift to using Allix as my formulation program, the transition was very smooth, thanks to the very user-friendly interface of Allix and most especially to the very helpful Allix technical person here in the Philippines, Doc Rhona Reyes. She was with me every step of the way and patiently accommodating all of my questions so that I can easily transition. My biggest concern before was how to transfer all of my database from my previous formulation program into Allix but it was all such a breeze. After a short tutorial session with Doc Rhona, I was able to come up with a feasible formulation right off the bat. I am still getting the hang out of it but I am getting by and still trying to work my way around it so that I can fully maximize its features, some not even available in the formulation program that I have used before, for example the pie chart that is generated in the characteristics window showing the contribution of each raw materials for each nutrient aspect of the formulation. Kudos to Allix for coming up with an innovative formulation program such as this.
